Delias Thompson designs her collections to highlight simple beauty. Working within a palette of sterling silver and 22K gold she works to combine organic and modern textures to create simple pieces for everyday adornment.

Her inspiration stems from life in all forms. Both the natural textures of organic wildlife and the cold hard steel of modern architecture inspire her. Ultimately she expresses the paradox we live in as inner city dwellers amongst the world’s natural resources and combines both in her work.

Though many of her ideas stem from life, it is ultimately the rawness of the metal that inspires her to begin designing a new collection. The sharpness of the file, the jagged edge of the saw blade, the heat of the torch compels her to explore. Her best ideas are realized at the bench.

Delias lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband, three Labradors, and three cats.
